Because the bus does not go that way. There is no bus route straight over the mountains to Podgorica. It loops north through Plav, Berane, Mojkovac and Kolasin, about 195 km of road. Driving the direct way takes under two hours.

Two options. Buy online at busticket4.me, which cost me 15.80 euros, and print the ticket before you travel. Or pay the driver in cash when you board. Luggage is 2 euros extra, also to the driver.
